The Project Manager is responsible for leading a slate of gaming and immersive training projects managing all cross-functional aspects of both internal and external projects from concept to launch to live operations. The candidate must be willing to acquire technical expertise in the solution and must be highly motivated, extremely well organized. This position will report to the creative director and CEO directly.

 

Responsibilities Include

Create detailed programs and project plans with a definition of the tasks and resourcing needed to bring projects to completion
Working with Engineering and partners, both internal and external, to define scope, goals, and deliverables across multiple products.
Proactively managing changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Developing best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Fostering strong and collaborative relationships with Engineering and creatives.
Supporting the identification, specification, and prioritization of feature products and initiatives
Communicate project vision and requirements to all stakeholders by creating, defining, and managing objectives and deliverables.
Manage projects to keep on market-driven quality, time, and budget.
Work with overseas operations team throughout the development & lifecycle of a game.
Work with QA to ensure overall product quality Help define and refine clear priorities, expectations, and commitments and measurable progress points against those.
Help streamline and adjust our project management processes to suit this team's specific workflow needs while helping increase the reliability of meeting our goals.
Help navigate adjustments to existing schedules and commitments due to quick response requests that need immediate attention.


Qualifications

5 years of experience in a technical project or program management role.
Minimum 5 years of game development experience, Post-production expense is also helpful.
Technical/Engineering background is highly desired
Experience in the gaming
Excellent communication, time-management, and teamwork skills
Flexible and open to change and new information, adapting behavior and work methods accordingly
Proven track record of successful games with knowledge of multiplayer online games.
Proven aptitude for producing, launching, and maintaining and expenses in the wild.
Strong analytical, technical, and project management skills
Knowledge of game industry-standard software tools, design documents, and production processes/best practices (budgets, game concept and prototyping creation, project management, bug reports, and defect tracking).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
